This Tour is done at a slow pace. This sightseeing tour passes alongside the Old Belize River, rural communities, small farms. See various species of Birds, unique native trees and plants, orchids and bromeliads, tour the Ancient city of Altun Ha, known for its ceremonial Temples with mask of gods, sacrificial altar and many findings of priestly tombs containing a wealth of artifacts. Go up several temples to get panoramic views. Lunch stop, A stop is done at the Back Yard to see birds, turtles and crocodiles once they are in the area, also have the option to stop and tour the Rum Factory Museum, (rum factory may be closed on some holidays and weekends) likewise a stop is done at the village roadside wine stand to sample local wines made from Cashew, Mango and Blackberry.
