This tour will take you across the UNESCO World Heritage Site and the oldest demarcated wine region in the world, the Douro Valley Port Wine Region.During the day you will have the opportunity to enjoy its stunning landscapes of vineyards, olive trees, and fruit trees like orange, lemon, tangerine, and others, learn about the history and traditions, also taste the table and Port wines that are made the region so famous all over the world.Of course, your visit wouldn’t be complete if you didn’t taste the local gastronomy during lunch at a traditional restaurant.All of this will be done in total comfort in a private tour (just you, your family, or friends) where I will be your driver and guide during the day. Being a son of a traditional family from the Douro Valley, I will be able to explain all the history that turned the Port Wine region into the gem that we see today.
