Tourists come to Ourika Valley as part of organized daily trips from Marrakesh. The good period to visit the valley is between February and April, when almond and cherry orchards bloom and rivers of wildflowers flow on the green plains crossed by a large river descending from the high Atlas Mountains in Mandhar.
