Cooper Hand Tools Nicholson® American pattern round 6" chainsaw file with smooth cut has curved tooth pattern and is used to file from inside to outside of cutter. Chainsaw file offers firmly support cutting and is used on carbon steel. Check depth gauge height every 2 or 3 sharpening. Tooth Pattern: Spiral cut curved. Sharpen all left hand cutters on one side of chain. Place file against beveled cutting surface of teeth 20 - 45 degrees with saw. Round shape, Smooth cut, Straight tang. Follow saw manufacturer's specifications. Cut: Smooth. File from inside to outside of cutter. Length: 6-inch. Tighten tension on chain to firmly support cutters when filing.
