This set includes the IDEAL VDV Multimedia Digital Verification Tester Specialty Meter, Battery Included (33-856), OmniSeal Pro Compression Tool (30-793), PrepPro Coax/UTP Stripper (45-605), and FT-45 Feed-Thru Modular Plug Data Crimper (30-495). The IDEAL 33-856 VDV Multimedia cable tester is designed to test all common low voltage cabling systems found in today’s automated homes; voice, data or video networks. The VDV Multimedia cable tester has a large, bright LCD display and four momentary buttons used to directly access each function. The remote attaches to the main unit for storage and patch cable testing. Our flagship OmniSeal Pro XL compression tool is compatible with and terminates all IDEAL compression connectors. Patented dual spring clips and fixed top ledge enable this tool to compress more connectors than any other tool on the market. Unlike most compression tools which require adjustments and adapters for each type of connector, this compact 6 inch. length tool compresses all straight IDEAL compression connectors with no adjustments to the tool. F/BNC/RCA/RG-11 F connectors can all be terminated one after another with no setting changes. Only the 90°F and BNC connectors require a tool adjustment. An adjustable spin knob allows for compressive forces to be placed on the rim of the connector instead of the bottom of the nut when required. The adjustable post and spin knob, combined with 3-compression surface levels, give the installer virtually unlimited options for compressing current and future connector designs. The PrepPro combination Coax/UTP prep tool strips a wide range of coaxial cable types with no adjustments or settings required to the tool. The PrepPro can strip RG-59 and RG-6 in regular, Quad and all Plenum versions without adjusting anything on the tool. No need to adjust blade depths or tool settings. Factory preset for immediate out of package use. The FT-45 is a simple, compact and highly effective Crimp Tool for installers and techs that terminate RJ-45 connectors regularly. A single crimp cavity for RJ-45 8-position connectors that can be used with Feed-Thru, standard, or shielded connectors for CAT5e or CAT6. Includes a custom, heavy duty cutting blade that will last for over 2, 000 cuts. A mechanical design that requires only 1/3 to 1/2 the hand force of traditional tools to crimp the connector - no ratchet mechanism is needed and one handed crimping is possible.
