I have spent a lifetime in politics at the local, state, national and international levels. Some of that time has been as a government employee, including 18 years as an elected state legislator; and others as an employee and activist with NGOs both domestic and foreign-based. While I am semi-retired, I stay current in a wide range of fields. I have extensive experience as a teacher and lecturer in health care policy, environmental policy, state & local government, and public interest law.
