I am a retired full-time journalist with more than two decades of experience writing at a highly-proficient level. I worked for newspapers in Michigan, Tennessee and Texas. At one point I covered professional sports for the Houston Chronicle. Although I don't have a lot of experience specifically in tutoring, I did similar things as the sports editor of two newspapers when younger writers wanted to learn from a professional in the business. I was a full-time sports journalist for 18 years
