I started my teaching career in Cambridge, MA as an Elementary ELL teacher and eventually was trained as a Reading Recovery teacher. I was then a literacy interventionist for 13 years at my school. My husband I moved to the Cape where I was hired again as a Reading Interventionist at an elementary school for 2 years. I love being an interventionist. Working with children one-on-one or in small groups really gives me the opportunity to know the children well and learn how their brains are process
