I received my Ph.D. in English at the George Washington University, and currently teach as a Lecturer in the Asian American Studies program at the University of Maryland, College Park. Prior to this position, I was Visiting Assistant Professor in the English department at Boston University and a Lecturer in the English department at UC Berkeley. I have also taught writing, ethnic and gender studies, and American and multiethnic literatures at various private and public institutions across the U.
