I received the equivalent of a Masters degree at the Irkutsk Foreign Language Institute in Russia in teaching foreign languages. I taught at the U.S. Defense Language Institute on the west coast (one of the two principal U.S. government language schools) where I received a medal for my work. I tutor Russian children and adults in English, and Americans in Russian.
