I was born into a family of talented vocalists. Starting when I was five, I sang in church. I have been classically trained by a private vocal coach for about a year. In tenth grade of high school, I won a Shuler Hensley award for being the Best Supporting Actress in the state of Georgia (the musical was Dream Girls and I portrayed Deena Jones.)
