I was born and raised in Yellow Knife, North West Territory, Canada. I majored in Art at Fort St. John School, British Columbia. I was a rodeo cowboy for 12 years and painted my experiences along the way. Eventually I settled in Colorado Springs and decided to focus on my artwork by building a studio in my home and returned to painting full-time. I've been a working artist for over 30 years.
