I began teaching Spanish in 1975 in Charleston, SC. When I moved to NC, I began to study for a minor in French also. I continued to teach both languages until I retired. I am still involved in teaching by substituting for Spanish and French teachers at the private school I retired from. I have always loved languages, and I want learning to be exciting for the students, and not a chore. I have traveled extensively in both Spanish and French speaking countries.
