This year marks my ninth full year as a secondary social studies educator! My teaching journey began even further back, however, in 2009 as an undergraduate at the University of Michigan School of Education. Afterwards, I was awarded an English Teaching grant in Madrid, Spain as a Fulbright Scholar, and then worked for a couple years as a Spanish teacher in Detroit.
