Description
This course is the second part of the IELTS writing task 2 course. It covers the analyzing, planning, coherence, language and writing of problem/solution, advantage/disadvantage, discussion and mixed twin-question essays in depth. Each essay type has a very descriptive essay sample that is dissected sentence by sentence. To make the most of this course, it is best that you take my IELTS writing task 2 (part 1) course first so that you have a better understanding of the standard agree/disagree essay. Also, remember that becoming a proficient writer, particularly under exam conditions, requires extensive practice, dedication and time. Be sure to read about a wide range of topics as much as possible to become faster at generating ideas. Be concise and communicate your ideas by developing them with details and examples from your own knowledge and experience. The more you read, the easier this will be. I should also mention that the best way to improve your writing is to write the time to practice essay topics after all the lessons of each essay type. Getting feedback is just as important, so try to reach out to me or have another teacher take a look at your writing after you learn about each essay. I also suggest checking out the site (write and improve) by Cambridge to get some automated feedback for your essays. Of course, such feedback would be limited to grammar and vocabulary, yet it is better than no feedback at all!
