Our Git tutorial is designed for beginners and professionals. Git is a modern and widely used distributed version control system in the world. It is developed to manage projects with high speed and efficiency. The version control system allows us to monitor and work together with our team members at the same workspace. This tutorial will help you to understand the distributed version control system Git via the command line as well as with GitHub. The examples in this tutorial are performed on Windows, but we can also perform same operations on other operating systems like Linux (Ubuntu) and MacOS. Git is an open-source distributed version control system. It is designed to handle minor to major projects with high speed and efficiency. It is developed to co-ordinate the work among the developers. The version control allows us to track and work together with our team members at the same workspace. In this course I explain the basics of Git (version control) in a visual and simple manner. I covers some of the basics of GitHub. I introduce one concept at a time and build from the beginning to the end incrementally. I introduce every new term so that beginners and more experienced folk can follow the course alike! I want to make sure everyone can get as much out of this course as possible.
