Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) is a cross-platform messaging solution that lets you reliably send messages at no cost. It works on the principle of down streaming messages from FCM servers to user's app and upstream messages from user's apps to FCM servers. Firebase comes with a lot of new features along with the GCM infrastructure. Android Studio is the official integrated development environment for Google's Android operating system, built on JetBrains' IntelliJ IDEA software and designed specifically for Android development.
