Description
This course will introduce you to the modern popular concepts of the Oracle Private Database cloud, using Oracle Enterprise Manager 13c Cloud Control, which is Oracle's flagship product for Oracle database management. You will be taught techniques for building, configuring, and managing a private Oracle database cloud in your company data center with the base foundational software of Oracle Enterprise Manager 13c Cloud Control. You will also learn best practices for a wide variety of different private database cloud approaches that can used in a private cloud - such as Oracle Database as a Service, Oracle Snap Clone as a Service, Oracle Schema as a Service, and Oracle Pluggable Database as a Service. The course will also explain how to use the popular Oracle Cloud REST API for performing Oracle Database as a Service. You will gain a reasonable understanding of the methods used to architect, configure, and manage every component in a private Oracle database cloud lifecycle. You will be learning these concepts from an experienced DBA/Developer of many years, who is an Oracle Certified Master (Databases), who was previously an Oracle ACE Director, and is also an experienced computing writer (three books published on Oracle Enterprise Manager including DBaaS).
