Concha y Toro Frontera Merlot is a bright violet red in color. Aromas of herbs, berries and pepper. On the palate, the wine is soft, tanninous, medium body, rounded and harmonic with a good finish. Very smooth. This soft, dry red wine is excellent with a variety of meat and pasta dishes. Merlot provides forward fruit and easy drinkability while Cabernet Sauvignon offers structure and longevity. Serve at room temperature or slightly chilled.Lamb with Merlot is an ideal match-the sweetness of the meat picks up on the sweet fruit flavors of the wine to create a harmonious balance.
