Description
The Rainier Cherry Tree is consistently one of the most sought-after cherry varieties due to its beautiful cream and red-flushed coloring, as well as its signature candy-sweet flavor. This unique coloring and taste is typically reflected in the higher price that Rainier cherries fetch at grocery stores and farmers markets. Partially self-fertile, meaning this tree will produce cherries without another cherry tree nearby, however a pollinating partner will significantly increase yields. Also known for being one of the more cold hardy sweet cherry varieties, Rainier will withstand temperatures down to -10° F. Reaches about 25 ft. H and width at maturity.
