Description
A hardy and colorful dwarf shrub with all the toughness and adaptability the willow family has to offer. As the name suggests, a Dwarf Blue Arctic Willow is tolerant of extreme cold, but also heat, drought and overly wet soils, like most members of the Salix family. A low-growing shrub that maintains a consistent rounded shape, this Willow will reach a height and width of about 5 ft if left unpruned. Thin, whip-like branches with olive-blue color add a unique texture to landscapes and are often planted in rows to accentuate green and purple foliage companion plants.
