Description
This evergreen shrub is valued for its big, bold foliage with large, leathery leaves with a beautiful glossy sheen. This adds an exciting and bold tropical look to landscapes and patios. The flowers are small, white, borne in dense terminal compound umbels in late autumn or early winter, followed by small black fruit in spring. Performs best in low, indirect sunlight and does well outdoors in the summer. Excellent as an accent in containers and mixed borders adding bold texture and drama. Great in a shaded entryway or patio, or in a sheltered spot near a water garden, or a houseplant.
