The GDH Series builds on this proud heritage by offering extended height adjustment capability. Compact, yet super-strong, they are designed to minimize overall height while maximizing load capacity. Once positioned in the desired location, an extended leveling shaft made of cold forged steel is lowered using a fixed adjustable nut. Alternatively, a hex tip atop the shaft allows the use of a power tool or mechanical linkage to adjust height. NOTE: both options require a cylindrical cavity in the base/leg of the application, as the extended leveling shaft protrudes vertically through the top plate. As the wheel is lifted off the ground, the leveling foot takes over to make the unit completely stationary. Making adjustments, even under a heavy load, is light work for GDH Series leveling casters.
