There are lots of varieties of calathea, but 1 of the most common has luscious, dark green leaves that have scalloped edges and silver brush marks on the top of the leaves. Underneath, the leaves are a lovely shade of burgundy purple. Each 1 is a living work of art. This item features our unique self-watering planter. The Wick & Grow self-watering system is based on a specially designed blue-and-white Waterwick (it looks like a string) that serves like a straw for your plant. As your plant roots drink water from the potting soil, the Waterwick draws that same amount of moisture up from a water reservoir below the pot.
