The PeakWorks Leading Edge Series Single Self-Retracting Device (SRD) - Class A - Cable offers an inertial breaking mechanism that locks into place to immediately stop a fall, Made from a light-weight composite plastic housing, LE SRD's are designed to protect the worker when operating near an edge and where a fall hazard exists. The cable retracts up into the housing to eliminate slack in the lifeline and prevents users from falling more than a few inches, The 10 ft. 3 m L self-retracting device is manufactured using 3/16 in. 5 mm Dia galvanized cable, providing maximum protection. Ergonomically designed for ease of use and ideal for direct connection to most harnesses, this SRD features a centrifugal braking system, a steel carabiner for attachment to the anchor point or rear D-ring of the harness, a visual load indicator and a 300 lbs. 136 kg combined weight capacity. Available with a regular steel 3/4 in. snap hook (V845533010LE) or light-weight aluminum 2-1/2 in. form hook (V845534010LE). This SRD is tested and approved for foot level tie-off. Meets applicable OSHA standards and third-party certified to ANSI Z359.14-2014, Class A, Leading Edge and CSA Z259.2.2.
