A total of 12 LED bulbs - 6 cool white LEDs and 6 warm white LEDs - are embedded into the underside of the lampshade. Not only does the single switch on the back of the unit offer you instant access to both daylight and moonlight modes, it even enables you to switch the lamp into the automatic mode. When you toggle the switch into automatic, you're firing up the integrated light and motion sensor lamp (for Daylight Mode Only). These automatically control the lamp's response to its intelligent reading of your lighting needs: Only when sensing motion - within the range of 110° x 90° and up to 4 meters in distance - in the dark, the lamp will activate its 6 daylight-temperature LEDs. The light will remain on until approximately 60 seconds after all motion has ceased. This is perfect for those who like to sleep in complete dark, but hate fumbling for switches.
