Teak wood is known around the world as the premier hardwood. These tropical trees create the perfect lumber for outdoor furniture. All the timber used in the making of our furniture is cultivated from government certified plantations controlled by the Perhutani State Forestry (Indonesia) to ensure reforestation and the protection of rain forests vital to the worlds ecosystem. We use only grade A teak wood which means the lumber we use will be free of any defects, free of knots, no white streaks, no sapwood and will all be of similar color. Every piece of our furniture in our Jakarta Collection is manufactured and quality controlled, with the utmost attention to detail. Solid, well-constructed joints, high grade brass hardware, smooth sanded finish and secure packaging will ensure that our product will arrive to its destination in excellent condition.
