Big Blue (BB) whole house sediment water filtration system features a pleated sediment filter that is reusable and washable, designed to reduce dirt, sand, silt, and scale and rust particles. Rated at 30 microns, this polyester sediment cartridge can treat water with high flow rates and low pressure drops. In addition, their unique design offers exceptional dirt holding capacity for all types of applications. The filter media is pleated to maximize dirt-holding capacity and to extend the time period between changes or cleaning. This sediment cartridge is resistant to both bacteria and chemical attack making it highly suitable for a variety of residential, commercial and industrial applications. The 20 in. Big Blue filter housing is constructed of durable reinforced polypropylene and can operate effectively under a wide range of water conditions for different applications. The certified filter and housing is equipped with 1 in. FPT inlet and outlet ports for large volume and fast water flow. Housing wrench and bracket is also included for a complete whole house carbon filter system that provides chemical-free water delivered throughout all your faucets.
