Description
Anchor AF-1502 - GAC and 4 lbs KDF is a replacement cartridge for the 2nd stage in Anchor AF-6002 3-Stage Whole House Water Filtration System. It also fits any system that has 4.25 in. x 20 in. standard-sized housing. This 20 in. filter consists of 1-micron filter pad, 4lbs of KDF-55, Granular Activated Carbon (GAC), and another 1-micron pad. KDF effectively removes heavy metals from water and significantly extends the life of granular activated carbon by protecting the carbon bed from fouling by chlorine, algae, fungi and bacteria. KDF can remove up to 99% of water-soluble lead, mercury, nickel, chromium, and other dissolved metals. It can eliminate the need for costly, and sometimes harmful, chemical treatments. The filter removes unpleasant odors, Chlorine, Hydrogen sulfide smell from water.
