Chris King designed this headset from the ground up to meet the demands of today's downhillers and freeriders. Not only will the stainless steel cartridge bearings handle any abuse you can throw at it, but King has upped the game with the PreLoader. The PreLoader takes the place of the traditional star nut and uses a solid rod that runs from the cap bolt all the way to the end of the steerer tube, underneath the fork crown. King says this technology increases durability and impact-resistance, and helps the NoThreadset live up to its ten-year warranty.
