'Childhood dreams' is a vibrant spiral scape which I made using my huge collection of spirograph cogs and gears. I used mixed media consisting of pen and ink, pencil, marker and paint to create each individual spirograph and then carefully placed each one on the canvas. The playful colours and irregular positioning of each spirograph bring out the inner child in the viewer. A print of this piece makes anyone step a little closer and really get involved in its intricate geometry.
