Features: This knife's full tang blade is made of Nitrox High Carbon Stainless Steel. This proprietary alloy was designed to be perfectly suited for everyday use by eliminating the common issues found in premium cutlery (rust, brittleness, difficulty in re-sharpening). It features 0.35% of Carbon for a durable, razor-sharp edge and 16% of Chromium to guarantee perfect resistance to corrosion. The blade is hardened to the sweet spot of 56HRC. It’s hard enough to offer excellent resistance against edge wear and deformation, and soft enough to allow for easy re-sharpening. It’s the perfect balance between the two! It also preserves the blade’s flexibility and forgiveness for outstanding toughness against chipping. Louis blades are fitted with a gorgeous double-sided flat grind, tapering down from the spine to the edge in a flat, linear slope. It produces a fine and crisp cutting edge which allows for extremely precise and delicate cuts.
