Not So Layered 1 is an alluring abstract landscape that explores the natural world through a philosophical lens. Commanding the top expanse of the canvas is a Prussian-blue sky. The texture is brought forward by the overlapping of lines, shapes, and subtle variations of hues. A dune is situated in the middle portion of the work. A bare palette of brush green and sand provides a mid-inflection point.
