Here is a unique and beautiful vintage carpet. a vintage Art Deco rug that was woven in Ecuador during the middle years of the twentieth century with an exciting composition by noted designer Olga Fisch. An evocatively beautiful rug, this vintage Art Deco carpet depicts a series of crude animal drawings that are immediately reminiscent of the cave paintings that mark mankind’s first foray into creative expression. Set against a field of ivory, the artist has rendered a series of five large antlered animals, each a different color and, superficially, each in a different stage of completeness.
