Beautiful and rare antique botanical engraving is taken from the famous John Hill herbarium with numerous flowers arranged in several rows, each indicated with the name in English. Antique print from the herbarium The British Erbil: a History of Plants and Trees natives of Britain". The important collection of antique prints, edited by Sir John Hill, was published in London in 1756 and many talented engravers were involved in the execution of the panels, including J. Hill and H. Roberts himself. Excellent condition!
