Artist Neil Patrick was born and raised in San Diego, California where he studied Fine Art, Drawing, and Painting. Growing up in San Diego, he had a wide variety of inspirations, from comic books and graffiti to the traditional European masters in the San Diego Museum of Art, which he used to learn and build his craft and skill. While studying in school, contemporary artists honed in their craft. That had a huge influence on his interest with the combination of representational and abstract art. Neil believes art can mean anything. For him, itâs an expression and a story. He finds inspiration through everyday experiences. This can be through Neilâs interactions with people, nature, urban areas, and more. Neil uses charcoal, graphite, oil paints, and acrylic mediums.
