Anatolian rugs and flatweaves are handmade by semi-nomadic tribes who live along the Turkish Mediterranean coast. Wool and locally produced natural dyes are used in their weaving. Predominant colors used are bright red, Indigo blue, beige, camel brown, and to a lesser degree white.
