British-American Tobacco Company, Petersburg, Virginia advertising created by A. Hoen and Company. This is an early, original color ad for plug tobacco. Winner Plug Tobacco, depicts a fantasy steeplechase through a large stirrup. The advertising company, British-American Tobacco, was an amalgamation of Britain's Imperial Tobacco Company and the American Tobacco Company.
