This image if from an original broom label commemorating the landing of the first pilgrims to the new world. The Mayflower started the colonization of what would become the United States of America. Applied as a sticker to the stem of brooms to identify the maker and prove to consumers that one was better than all the others. These date from around 1910. Brooms lost their market share after the advent of the vacuum. Size: 30" H x 20" W x 1.5" D
