It is a ¾” thick product and is designed to sit flush on this sized hardwood floor. We also accept custom-made orders to your specific thickness. The vent will drop in place with a wooden box built into the floor around the duct opening upon floor installation. Magnets hold The vent in the box, making it easy to remove when needed. It’s a very simple process that avoids having to router or cut your flooring after it has been installed. With a ¼” thick solid oak wood, we are making it easier to resurface the floors in the future. You don’t have to remove vents or buy new ones. Size: 0.75" H x 10" W x 4" L
