Large translucent twinned crystals of calcite on translucent to transparent apophyllite crystal cluster matrix in wheat sheave aggregates. The calcite has a rich golden color with sharp terminations and a waxy luster, lightly coated with a sparkling second generation of quartz along the bottom edges.
