Those who know me well consider me to be someone who is tolerant, quick learner and a good planner. I am a qualified MBA from Pune University in addition to an executive management degree from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. I have 11 years of work experience and have worked in vertical markets like Automobile, IT and Health care where she had worked in Marketing, Business Development, New Customer Acquisition and Customer Satisfaction Departments. Her areas of interests and expertise are Strategic Direction for new business, Product/ Brand Management, Sales Promotion, Corporate Communication, Event Management and Inter-company International Marketing. I was working as a Sr. Marketing professional and had worked in various markets but have always had a deep passion for working for social causes, especially through which the less fortunate can be benefited. I met few artisans at the Artisan Community and saw their lifestyle and living standards. The artisans were creating crafts with raw materials without the use of technology which was phenomenal. What really moved me was that even though this art is world famous, they are very measly paid for their work. They were being rewarded almost nothing and had make do with that little amount and pay for rent, children's education, daily expenses, food etc. It was then that I decided to make the best of my marketing experience and bring forward their products and get them the price they deserve for their products. I want all the artisans to earn well and live a happy and healthy lifestyle. The current condition of my artisans should get better in the next five years as their children should be able to access better education, better health services and lead a healthier lifestyle. This is not only what I vision for the next five years but is also the sole purpose of why I left my job and started out on my own. Our artisans should get what they are worth and it is my mission to devote my whole life to market their products.
