Our Kisii Stone line is our most Earth-conscious collection of artwork, as each piece is carefully made by hand and their production is completely carbon neutral. Quarried in the Kisii District of Kenya, the soapstone is excavated, cut to size, shaped and polished to a smooth, elegant finish using only hand tools. The lustrous stone is then painted with colored dyes and carved with intricate designs or affirmations per the artist's design, showing the color of the stone underneath. Kisii Town is home to the best soapstone carvers on the continent, their prodigious skill shown by the simplistic methods they use to produce such beautiful work. This set includes three hearts, all reading different beautiful affirmations to uplift your day: "Hope", "Believe", and "Dream." Each stone heart is an original work of art, with no two pieces looking exactly alike.
