"A" is 4" wide, the "M" is 3 7/8" wide.Lowercase: Not all the letters measure 5" tall...letters with stems b, d, f, g, h, j, k, l p, q, t, y are 5" tall while the other letters a, c, e for example are 3 3/4" - 4" tall If you want all the letter to be 5 inches tall, you need to purchase the uppercase.Letters are cut to order, if you need specific phrases you can contact me with the specific 26 letters you need
