It will have a strong chop at idle and require a 3200+rpm torque converter for automatic applications..Each Gen 5 camshaft Texas Speed offers will require the use of a phaser limiter kit. The phaser limiter restricts the range of cam timing movement. This modification provides the necessary valve clearance for performance camshafts with added duration and tighter lobe separations..NOTE: The Stage 4 L83 camshaft requires a DOD/AFM lifter delete, and a VVT Phaser limiter block is necessary to maintain proper piston to valve clearance.
