SOW: Sow jade seeds 1/4 to 1/3 inch deep in well-draining soil in an area with full sun to partial shade..GERMINATION: Seeds germinate in about three weeks..BLOOM PERIOD: This evergreen vine grows rapidly and produces thick, woody stems and blue-colored, claw-shaped flowers in spring..USDA ZONE: Thriving in U.S. Department of Agriculture plant hardiness zones 10 and 11, jade plants do not tolerate frost or cold..TIPS: Jade seeds do not require pretreatment, but to speed germination you can slightly scarify seeds using fine sandpaper or soak them in warm water for two to four hours.
