If you want to be able to connect three different lines that have different sizes, a reducing tee will be needed..This tee has slip fittings on the two opposing sides, with a fipt or female pipe thread fitting on the top of the tee.The first two sizes indicate the end sizes of the tee while the third size indicates the size of the top of the tee. So a 1-1/4 x 1 x 1/2 reducing tee will have one 1-1/2 end, with the opposite end measuring 1 and the top fitting measuring 1/2..All of our Schedule 40 fittings are NSF rated 14 & 61, which means they are certified for use with potable (drinking) water..Maximum temperature is 140 degrees F.
