Auto-dimming mirror is the one that has a thick gasket-like black plastic rim around it for which this mirror is NOT a fit. Refer to the pictures..Includes double-sided Automotive Grade adhesive contoured to mirror shape that provides optimum heat transfer and easy installation. Beware of small inefficient adhesive patches that fail shortly after installation, and leave air gap between bonding layers which causes uneven installation and improper heat function..Aluminum back coated real mirror glass for automotive application. Avoid cheap glasses with chrome paint spray film on top that look like mirror but top chrome spray fades or scratches over short time.
