This exotic backgammon set is beautifully designed and crafted. The 15" cabinet is carefully constructed from dark walnut, ebony & burl veneers with a high gloss finish. The top and bottom of the cabinet features a striking decorative patterning of various precious hardwoods. On opening the cabinet the innovative magnetic fastening system is evident, this creates very clean lines to this cabinet that is not spoiled by unsightly hardware.The playing surface and points are made from veneers of ebony & maple, surrounded by walnut. The backgammon pieces are wooden. This is a beautiful backgammon to leave on display closed just as you would leave out a fine piece of crystal.
