Description
Harry Bosch is the last private eye in California. He doesn't advertise or have an office. He is hard to get along with, but his talent and 30 years of experience with the Los Angeles Police Department speak for themselves. Soon, one of Southern California's biggest magnates comes looking for him. The elderly millionaire is filled with regret. When he was young, he had a relationship with a young Mexican girl. She was the great love of his life. She disappeared soon after she found out she was pregnant. Did she have the baby? If so, what happened to the child? Bosch realizes that his search could be dangerous for all involved due to the amount of money at stake. At the same time, he volunteers his services to a small police department without a lot of resources. They are trying to capture a highly disturbed and violent serial rapist.
